Say “No” to Adultery!


 
It does not matter what is the nature of sin..”Sin is Sin”. 
But we have a God who forgives and forgets!
If we can confess our sins, we can be forgiven of it! 
It doesn’t matter what we’ve done, if we sincerely turn to God in repentance and confess our sins, He will forgive us of ALL unrighteousness… that includes anything we’ve done, that we are willing to bring before Him!
  1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.”
There is Hope in Jesus! Anyone in Christ is a new creation. 
Adultery is sin too! 
God’s Word says…
 Exodus 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.’
 Proverbs 6:32 “But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself.”
  Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says, “Adultery (anglicised from Latin adulterium) is a type of extramarital sex. “
But what does Jesus say?
 Matthew 5:27, 28“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
 Matthew 19:9 “And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”
 What do the following writers say? (All scriptures are inspired by the breath of God.)
 Hebrews 13:4 “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”
 1 Corinthians 6:18 “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.”
Can one overcome this temptation? 
Well God does provide a way of escape! One needs to flee to escape!  
In Genesis 39, When Joseph faced temptation, he left his garment in Potiphar’s wife’s hand and fled and got out of the house. The grace of God enabled Joseph to overcome the temptation, by avoiding the tempter. 
 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
Will God forgive a person who sincerely repents of this sin? Well God in His mercy does! But He says, ““Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
 John 8:4-11 They said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground.  At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.  Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Finally….what if one chooses to live in sin?
Ephesians 5:5 “For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.”
 Revelation 21:8 “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Turn wandering eyes to the Lord…He forgives, fixes, heals, restores and binds!

Watch out for the little pebbles and foxes


Hi..
Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
We may have heard, read a lot about Jesus Christ that He is The Way, Truth, Life. We may even sing about Him, talk about Him  but do we personally know Him as our Lord and Savior and does  He know us as His own is what finally matters. If anyone does not enjoy this personal relationship with God please get to know Jesus. I don’t want to hear Him say on that great day, “I do not know you”.
 
Let’s not get used to living a compromising, lukewarm life, tasteless Christian life.
God’s Word says in Matthew 25:12 But he answered and said, assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.”  
It’s not what we do for Him or how well we know His Word that will really matter on that final day, but our walk with Jesus, knowing Him and doing His will that really will matter.
The Pharisees knew the law well, seen Jesus do miracles, heard Him preach but could not understand who He was.
Luke 11:52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away thekey of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and thosewho were entering in you hindered.”  
It’s time to get rid of those little things that can cause us stumble. Small pebbles can cause a strong man to stumble. Little foxes can destroy a fruitful vineyard. A small distraction when driving can cost ones life. Little things like small lies, little compromise, vain imaginations, a careless prayer life, a peep into things left behind when we decided to follow Jesus, can destroy our walk with our Savior. Let us be careful to not allow these ‘little things’ to take us away from God. Let us be alert and shun evil.
God has great plans for us and expects us to live an uncompromising life. Let us not allow little sins (a sin is a sin in God’s eyes) to cause us stumble and wander away from God!
How can we commune with Him if we keep little secrets from Him? He knows about ALL we do, say and think. Let us be willing to let go, confess of little things that displease God and enjoy our walk with our Lord.
Song of Solomon 2:15 “Catch for us the foxes, the little foxesthat ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.”  
Let’s enjoy a knowing relationship with our Savior. When our personal prayer life, quiet times with God, family prayer times are not a priority, things in our personal lives, home, work, attitudes are in a mess. There is strife instead of love, confusion instead of peace, fault finding instead of understanding.
Time to get our priorities right starting with going an extra mile to build a strong relationship with God, reading Him Word and getting our attitudes right.
May the “Fruit of the Spirit” be made complete in us. May His Word cleanse us first, may our prayers change us first. When we pray against corruption, we stop giving bribes. When we pray for revival in our nation God will ignite that spark to be on fire for Him and this passion will spread.
So let’s rise up and be all that our Lord wants us to be. Let’s fall in love with our Savior and His Word all over again.
Psalm 119:11 “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
Let’s strive to know Him better every day. Let’s not waste our time on vain pleasures. Time to let go of things the Lord’s been prompting us to let go and move on with Jesus.
May be it’s a habit, an attitude, a relationship, a harmless activity that’s taking too much of our time, a television programme or a computer game.
May be we are reading too much of news paper but no time to read His Word.
Have some friendships taken too much of our time texting them and talking to them that we find no time to talk to God?
Anything that comes between us and God is an Idol.
Ezekiel 20:7 And I said to them, “Each of you, get rid of the vile images you have set your eyes on, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.”
Let’s remove all idols and drive away the little foxes from our lives.
Let’s not loose out on entering our promised land by complaining, murmuring, grumbling. The Israelites not only roamed in the desert for 40 years, one generation failed to see the promised land.`

Media influence…


Hi family and friends..
★How often the things of this world take the place of God.
★How many hours are spent watching TV, surfing the net, lazing around doing nothing but find no time to read God’s word, pray, do His work, study and do other useful things.
★Computers are a great mean of communication. keeping in touch and doing God’s work. But let’s not allow it to take too much of our time and it has lot of ideas and stuff that turn us away from our Lord.
We need to study God word diligently and turn away from Godless chatter and opposing ideas. 
***1 Timothy 6: 20 Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, 21 which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith.
★Sometimes just the last few minutes before going to bed, when one is tired are all that’s given to God!!
Isn’t that sad?? FORGIVE US LORD….
★Television and Internet has it’s share of good and bad, there are positive and 
negative influence on it’s viewers and users.
★But have you ever wondered what the TV and Internet robbed from us?
★Time?
★Quiet time with God?
  ★ Family Devotion?
  ★ Good reading?
  ★ Art of writing using paper and pen?
  ★ Church attendance?
  ★ Visiting friend?
  ★ Entertaining friends at home?
  ★ Family time together, just laughing and talking?
  ★ Wholesome conversation?
  ★ Real friendships and relationships?
  ★ Playing with kids and reading them stories?

Surprised at what we’ve lost, what we are missing?

  ★ May God help us to use our time wisely…
  ★ May He help us to discern between the ‘good’ and ‘bad’.
  ★ God’s desire is that we are blameless.
•● 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. “
★And He wants us to think of whats pure, noble and right.
•●  Philippians 4: 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
★Job made a covenant with his eyes. Can we do that?
•● Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with my eyes
not to look lustfully at a young woman. 

★And David who sinned and knew it’s consequences and later repented said..
•●  Psalm 101:2 “I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.
on anything that is vile.
I hate what faithless people do;
 I will have no part in it.”
★Let’s not let anything come between us and God and let’s spend quality time with God and family.

We all get repulsed at the thought of someone who touches or has sex with a child …perverts we call them…be real you know it’s true. There are many different sorts of predators out in the world, and many that exist right here on cyberland. There are men and women who come on here pretending to be something they are not, who play on the weaknesses of each other, the emotional shortages that we lack in our lives. Does the fact that its all done without physical contact make it any less perverted than the sick people who prey on the weak out in the real world? I think not and are the ones who find themselves falling victim to these sick individuals in the same category?
There are many people who suffer from emotional unhealthiness, from lonliness, from pains of this world that make them emotionally crippled.
 Is a person that takes advantage of anothers weakness, be it physical or emotional, an animal of a whole other sort simply because its only words? 
We speak often of the power of our words. How they can bring down or lift up, do we truly understand what that means? Be careful on here…there are so many people who come in the name of Christ who can without a conscience, do things unimaginable just because they have nothing better to do than be a sick individual.
Can you imagine how they must laugh behind the backs of those who fall prey to them? God does see these people, the Bible says that God will pay with tribulation those who hurt His children. They may not see their retribution in this lifetime, but they will in the next.
I’m sickened by these people, they are no more better than the sick individuals who lure children in for sex by earning their trust. They are no less sick than the gawkers of pornography or the soliciters of prostitutes, in fact thats what they are, cyber prostitutes, having their way with people simply because thats how they get their kicks. 
Prostituting themselves out…… 
Well remember this…God sees all…
 He knows your heart and if in your heart you can justifiy what you are doing,
He sees that too. We all make mistakes, we all do things that are wrong, we are all guilty…but you make up for your mistakes, you make changes, you let God do what He has to do inside you. But you people who are predators, you people out there that play on the emotions of others, in the name of what…..you are murderers of a different sort.
You murder the spirit of an individual, you kill what they believe about faith and trust.
About love. You offer things that you have no intention of giving,…..you are of the devil. Play while you can……your time is coming…you will stand before Almighty God and you will answer the question He asks of you…how you gonna answer to that one?
Father I pray those who have fallen victim to the malicious and deceptive ways of the enemy..how they come in sheeps clothing, offering kindness and more…giving and taking, leaving in the wake a slew of shattered hearts and grime….
 
Vengence is mine saith the Lord….
