Homosexuality …what God’s Word says about it…

Hi …
  • Starting with a prayer..
Lord give us Your love in our hearts to love everyone like you loved, to pray for those who persecute us and for those struggling, fallen and backslidden. Help us not be quick to judge, condemn, criticize, cast stones but reach out to others in prayer and love.
    In Jesus Name, Amen!”
John 8:10 “Woman where are they? Has no one condemned you? Then neither do I condemn you. Go now and sin no more.”
In this day and age of “tolerance” and NOT wanting to offend someone…are we tolerating a soul to HELL?
May we always do everything with this fact that we too were once sinners but it was because someone reached out to us, prayed for us, showed us the way to the cross, that we came to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that saved us. And when He looked at us, our repentant heart, He never condemned us, but did forgive us and sure said, “Go and sin no more.”
    God’s Word says…
1 Corinthians 6:9 “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.”
When the Bible says these people will not inherit God’s Kingdom, I am sure God meant it! Then why not warn people involved in it?
The God-ordained institution of marriage is under attack in courts all over the world, and your help is needed to save it before the one man-one woman definition of marriage is completely and radically redefined. Homosexual marriage/relationships will soon be a reality if you fail to get involved!
What we ‘tolerate’ we can never change!!
It’s sad to see some so called ‘Christians’ justifying Homosexuality.
There are “Homosexual Churches” ” Christian Gays”
Lurpus a young 25 year old man of God asks,
“How can one believe that a person can be a Christian while wantonly engaging in habitual sin; such as homosexuality, fornication, adultery in mind or body, the support in any way whatsoever of the murder of the unborn, or any other sin.”
    One Ronnie writes
Do we next also accept incest, blasphemy and finally murder?  Why should we compromise our values and the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus just to accommodate roughly 2% of the population?
Mankind advances while God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow for eternity.  If it was sin in the beginning, it’s still sin now.  There is no compromise.  I don’t care if anyone disagrees with me or what they may think of me for my stance on this issue.  I WILL NOT compromise and accept what I know to be a sin. When I accepted Christ as my savior I vowed to be as much like Him as I possibly can.  This is what Christian means, Christlike.”
What does God’s word say about this?
Genesis 19:5  “And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”
Leviticus 18:22  You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
Romans 1:26-27 “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
1 Timothy 1:10 “for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, “
Jude 1:6 “And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 7In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”
I write this not because it is related to “conforming or not conforming to the norms of our society” but because it is totally related to the “Word of God”. So how can I take a compromising stand and call white black or black white? There is no grey area when it comes to the Word of God….!
My prayer is the Lord pours His love in our hearts so that we can pray and reach out in love and with the truth of His Word to those who feel rejected, unloved and struggle to be set free from anything that holds them down.
    But truth does hurt….
But quoting God’s Word is not to “CONDEMN” but it is just speaking the “WORD OF GOD” as it is!
Some people will love us if we HIDE THE TRUTH.
Some will hate us if we SIDE THE TRUTH..
But God sure will be pleased with us if we ABIDE BY THE TRUTH.
My intention was never to condemn but share the truth of God’s Word! I don’t want to either debate….
I like what Max Lucado writes ,..QUOTE>>“It’s easier to talk about a person than to help a person. It’s easier to debate homosexuality than to be a friend to a gay person. It’s easier to discuss divorce than to help the divorced. It’s easier to argue abortion than to support an orphanage. It’s easier to complain about the welfare system than to help the poor.
It’s easier to label than to love.
Is that to say we should be unconcerned for doctrine or lax in a desire for holiness?
    Absolutely not.”<<UNQUOTE
May we love like Jesus did to all who need His touch.
This love is not a love that ignores the dirt that destroys and defiles God’s Masterpiece, but a love that recognizes that the grace of God can cleanse heal and restore any messed-up person like you or me!
Loving does not mean we take stand for that which contradicts God’s Word.
~Time to stand up fot the truth..and Say “NO” to sin!
~Be willing to “FLEE AND RESIST” temptations,
    ~Stop “COMPROMISING”,
~Be willing to “GIVE UP” things that hold us back,
~”STAND UP” when we fall and keep moving forward,
~Let us “NOT DELIBERATELY SIN” after we know the truth,
~Let’s say “NO” to anything that in the long run will harm our BODY, SOUL or SPIRIT.
    Have a blessed day..

Prodigal returns….

Hi Family and friends
♥My Heavenly Father’s love so…captivates my heart!
He loved man-kind so much that He sent His Only Son Jesus Christ to die for all our sins. Jesus died to set us free and rose again on the 3rd day. giving us hope for a future. Jesus will come again to take us to be with Him.
♥Father’s love is constant, patient and welcoming. He waits for a child who strays away or backslides.
¸.•*¨*✿Sometimes a child willingly strays and walks away from the Father like the Prodigal son.
(★Luke 15:12, “The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.’)
♥Prodigal walks away
¸.•*¨*✿Sometimes one may foolishly wander away like the lost
(★Luke 15:4-6,” “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’)
♥Shepherd looks out for the lost sheep
¸.•*¨*✿And yet others maybe lost in this world like the coin
(★Luke 15:8-9′ suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”).
♥Woman searches for the lost coin
♥But no matter what God’s love reaches out. He waits for the son who willingly walks away, searches hard for the strayed and lost.
 He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3
♥When the Prodigal son returned home in repentance, he seen his heart. The father was so….happy he forgave, forgot and didn’t ask him what he did with all the money or how he spent it, he was just happy the son returned.
♥Prodigal returns
This is our Heavenly Father’s love!
♥He welcomes a truly repentant son with love and not condemnation.
Father always picks up a son who repents and looks at him in compassion. He doesn’t shake his finger or cast him out. But lifts him up and says “I love you. I forgive you. Sin no more. It doesn’t matter what people say, but my I am able by the Blood of my Son JESUS, to wash your sins away.”
♥But the elder brother found it hard to accept his younger brother’s return but the Father wanted to rejoice.
(Luke: 28-32′ older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ ” ‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’)
♥Even today when Prodigals return home in repentance, some fellow brothers still look with suspicion and may refuse to accept them.
♥But cheer up there’s hope in Jesus. He accepts a repentant sinner, a backslidden child whole heartedly.
♥Let us ask the Father to fill our hearts with HIS love today…so that we can love like HE does!
♥Do you have loved ones who once loved the Lord and loved His people but who have walked away from God?
♥They may have once been on fire for God but gradually became cold and disinterested in the things of the Kingdom.
♥Today can we pray for all the prodigals we know because their Heavenly Father awaits their return.
Be Blessed!

Knowing relationship…

✿One may have an idea who Jesus Christ our Lord is from what they hear the world say He is!
One can form positive or negative opinions on Him from what they hear and read!
One may even know who He is!
✿But what’s really important is to personally know Him as our Lord and Savior and He should know us as His own!
✿If anyone does not enjoy this personal relationship with God it’s time to get to know Jesus Christ, The only Way, Truth and Life. We sure don’t want to hear Him say on that great day, “I do not know you”
•.¸¸.♥ Matthew 25:12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
•.¸¸.♥ Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. 29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”
✿The Pharisees knew the law so…well seen Jesus do miracles, heard Him preach but could not understand who He was.
•.¸¸.♥Luke 11:52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.” 53 And as He said these things to them,[a] the scribes and the began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, 54 lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.
The More we read God’s Word (THE BIBLE)
The more we’ll love it’s Author.
The more we meditate on His Word…
The more we’ll know Him.
Let’s enjoy a knowing relationship with our Savior.
•.¸¸.♥ Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Knowing Him better everyday…

This is another favorite scripture of mine!
PSALM 42:1 “As a deer pants for streams of water, my soul pants(longs) for you O God.”
As a deer’s life depends on water, so our lives have to depend on God. And God will speak to those who take time to listen to Him.
He confides in those who fear Him.
Psalm 25:14
The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
Let’s not get too busy that we fail to spend time with our Lord.
When we go into our prayer closet…let’s forget about ourselves and things around us.
Let’s love Him, Praise Him, Worship Him,
Let’s empty ourselves and crucify our desires and plans.
Let’s thirst for HIS anointing, hunger to know HIM better everyday.
Then we will be surely refreshed in our spirit…
And then we need to quieten ourselves in His Presence…and let God minister to us.
Being still in His presence
Let’s have a blessed time at the Lord’s presence today…
Read His Word, Meditate on it, Praise him, talk to Him and let’s not forget to listen to what our Lord Jesus Christ has to tell us.
O how Jesus loves fellowship…God created man so that He could fellowship with Him and that’s why He enjoyed His walks with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. He talked with them daily.
PROVERBS 3:32 “He takes the upright into confidence.”
Let’s desire this intimate relationship with our Creator and Savior…
Be Blessed…

He knows, He sees, He feels and He understands…

Let us never ever think our Lord Jesus Christ doesn’t know our pains and understand what we go through.
Bro. John writes>
He has worked in the hot sun with sweat pouring off His brow.
He has felt the pangs of hunger and thirst.
His feet have been caked with the dust of many Judean roads,
His back has felt the whip, and His hands have felt the nails.
His cheeks have felt the hot tears course down them. He’s known the betrayal of friends and has felt the stares of contempt and hatred.
And He has felt the sting of death of family members and friends.
Whatever trial or test you may be facing right now, He knows. He understands.
And He is praying for us and He is with us!
Be blessed…

Reject a divisive man and Avoid Dissension…(compiled)

Titus 3:9-11
Avoid Dissension
9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. 10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

(Notes: Paul is telling Titus as well as the other church leaders on Crete to stand aloof so that he will avoid foolish unprofitable and worthless speculations. Those who taught these things listed below not only polluted and corrupted the churches but, by their sinful lifestyles hindered the credibility of the gospel. How does this type of leaven corrupt the church? The NT gives several effects of false teaching — It unsettles the soul (Acts 15:24), shipwrecks faith (1Ti 1:19), leads to the ruin of the hearers (2Ti 2:14-note), produces ungodliness (2Ti 2:16-note), and spreads “like gangrene” (2Ti 2:17-note).

2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
(Notes: Paul is commanding young Timothy to
turn yourself about so that you will avoid worldly, empty talk. Continually place yourself at a distance from it and stand aloof from it. It is unprofitable for the things of eternity and in fact actually leads to ungodliness!)

Acts 25:7 And after Paul had arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, bringing many and serious charges against him which they could not prove;”
(Notes: Acts 25:7And when he was come>>
Into court:
the Jews which came down from Jerusalem;>>
along with Festus, perhaps the high priest with the elders, and Tertullus the orator, as before:
stood round about;>>
either the Apostle Paul, or the judgment seat; the witnesses and accusers were to stand, as well as the person accused;
And laid many and grievous complaints against Paul; which they could not prove;>>
for his moral conversation, both before and after conversion, was very strict and conformable to the laws of God and man; and yet as pure and inoffensive as he was, he was not exempt from the calumnies of men; and these many and very grievous; but it was his happiness, and to his honour through the grace of God, that his enemies could not make good anyone thing against him.)
Romans 16:17-18,
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

(Notes: Watch Out for Those Who Cause Divisions
The first command in verse 17 is to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles or stumbling blocks. “I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles.” So it is clear from this command that Paul is concerned about unity. He wants to promote unity. Watch out for those who cause divisions. These are enemies of unity. Watch out for them. I don’t want them to have that effect on you.
Avoid Them
The second command in verse 17 is to avoid these people. The last phrase in the verse: “Avoid them.” Stay away from them. Now the reason I said these two commands sound contradictory is that the first one is driven by a passion for unity: Watch out for those who cause divisions. And the second one is, in fact, a call for division. When you spot such a division-causing person, divide from him. Avoid him.
The Dividing Line of Doctrine
What is it then between these two commands that helps us see how they are not in fact contradictory? It’s Paul’s reference to doctrine. Verse 17: “I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught.” The issue here is not the same as in chapter 14 where Paul is dealing with different convictions about non-essential things. There he said, in verse 5, “Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” There was no talk in chapter 14 about avoiding people. The whole point was to help the strong and the weak Christians live together in mutual respect and understanding.

But now here in Romans 16:17, the approach is dramatically different. Here Paul says: Avoid them. Divide from them. Why? Because they are promoting doctrine contrary to what they had been taught. Now Paul’s response to this could have been: Well, nobody has all the truth, and everybody has a piece of it, and unity is more important than truth, and so don’t divide. And we would say: That impulse would not be all bad, would it? Unity is a good thing. Paul cares about it. His first command is: “Watch out for those who cause divisions.”)Image
