What does God look for in an intercessor…

Hi….
Today God’s looking for someone who is willing to stand in the gap and intercede.
٠•●★Ezekiel 22:30,”I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.”

What does God look for in an intercessor?

★1) Availability.( Should be available to pray anytime, any place & for anything )
٠•●★Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always….
٠•●★Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
★2) Intimacy.( Should have an intimate relationship with God.)
٠•●★Psalm 25:14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
★3)Obedience. (Should be obedient to God’s call & voice)
٠•●★1 Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD ? To obey is better than Sacrifice,
★4)Total surrender.( Should be fully committed to God.)
٠•●★ Chronicles 16:9,”For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”
★5)Life of Holiness.( His ears are always open to the righteous.)
٠•●★Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry;
★6)Humility.(Should be humble)
It’s the need of this hour.
٠•●★2 Chronicles 7:14,”if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
★7)Patience.( Should be willing to patiently wait and keep praying till we get answers.)
٠•●★Psalm 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
٠•●★Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
★8) Persistent.( Should not quit praying till we see God do something.)
٠•●★Isaiah 62:6-7, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD,
give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.
★To fail praying for someone is sin. Did someone ask you to pray for them?? Pray as soon as they ask you so that you don’t forget about it later. And also have a prayer diary where you can note down the prayer points & pray later.
٠•●★1 Samuel 12:23,”As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.”

★Humble us O Lord in your presence……
Your presence O lord is all we need….
Come Lord..come and take your place in our midst….
Yes Lord we depend on you and you alone..
You are our everything……..
Love you Lord Jesus Christ…..
BE BLESSED,

Hang on to what God thinks about you…

Hi…
It doesn’t matter what people say or think about you.
What’s important is what God thinks of you.
When people call you a failure or say things to discourage you, don’t let it affect you. You’ll always meet people around you who do not take time to see your heart.
So Look up to God. Remember He loves you the way you are. He never gives up on you.
Your help comes from the Lord.
It was He who lifted you up from the pit of sin and forgave you and helped you walk this far.

He’s still working on you. You are His treasured procession. He’ll not condemn you when you turn to Him for forgiveness but forgives and asks you to “Sin no more”.
John 8:11 “…..And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
He’ll not remind you of your past sins but looks at your repentant heart and help you stand and walk with a renewed strength and confidence.
Better hang on to what God thinks and says about you.

If you have back-sliden, failed or fallen in your spiritual walk, just get up and call out to Jesus today, He’ll be by your side lift you up.
He will not allow you to be put to shame. He will contend with those who contend with you.
★Psalm 40: 14 May all who seek to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
★Psalm 35:1, Contend, O LORD,
with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
★Psalm 35: 26 May all who gloat over my distress
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who exalt themselves over me
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
You can’t avoid or stop people talk but sure can choose to let God lift you up and make you stand on higher ground. Then one day the world will see that you find flavor with God and that God’s well pleased with you.
You are valuable to God, when He sees you He sees the price He paid for you, HIS SON. So your value is not in who you are or what you own but who you belong to.
So today will you choose to hang on to what God thinks about you?
Have a blessed day.

Deserts will bloom…

Isaiah 35:1
[ The Future Glory of Zion ] The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;

Hi..
When God allows us to pass through testing times we should know we’ll come out stronger and better. Let’s learn to walk through the desert praising God.
Soon the dry deserts in our lives too will bloom.
God permits these desert walk so that we learn to cope with pain, rejection, misunderstanding, loss, death etc.
When we faithfully endure, in due season God will make our deserts bloom.

Let’s serve God regardless of our circumstance. May be nothing is going as planned but let’s remember God has good plans for each one of us His children.

Let’s praise God at all times..even in our dry seasons.
Habakkuk 3:17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The LORD God [c] is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
May Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be Multiplied on each of you.
