God comforts and gives us His peace…

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.”Psalm 94:19

Going through a tough, painful situation?
May the peace of God that passeth all understanding
fill your hearts today.
May His comfort delight your soul.
Let God take away all that keeps you away from peace…
He is the Prince of Peace!
Good Night,

♥After Glow♥

Quote >”Hours and flowers fade away, But memories and fragrance lingers on. Always leave behind pleasant memories. The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ.

♥2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. As we walk through this day may the beauty of Christ radiate from us and may we carry His fragrance!
♥After Glow ♥

I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.

If we need to blossom like a rose…

Hi Family and friends….
Read this beautiful quote once…
“If you desire to Blossom like a rose in a garden. You have to learn the art of adjusting with the thorns.”
How true this is, each of us desire to blossom like the rose but find it difficult to face hard and tough situations in life.
Even Our Lord Jesus refines us like Silver.
PSALM 66:10
“For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.”
When God allows us to pass through testing times we should know we’ll come out stronger and better.
ISAIAH 48:10,
“See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
Daniel 11: 35,
“Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.
Malachi 3:3,
“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.”
1 Peter 1:7
These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Let’s learn to face the trials of life that seem to be like thorns. Then we too will blossom like a beautiful rose.
We need to learn to cope with pain, rejection, misunderstanding, loss, death etc.
When we faithfully endure, in due season God will help us bloom.
Stay Blessed,
May Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus be Multiplied on each of you.
Good Night
YSIC,
Julia

Joy comes in the morning….

“Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.”~Thomas Moore(1779-1852)

God’s Word is always a great source of comfort and the Holy Spirit’s voice a great source of encouragement and God’s presence in and around us, a great source of our strength in midst of testing times.
“Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning”(Psalm 30:5)
The place God’s leading us to is beautiful and it is a place He promises to wipe our tears away….
The sufferings in this world are light compared to what is in store for us!!

His Word helps us to endure the trials and testing times of this moment…!
2 Corinthians 4:17, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
He will never leave or forsake us, even in midst of our darkest moments, His eyes are on us.
God’s Word says in Matthew 10:29-31, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
If not a sparrow falls without God knowing, how much more He will care for us!
Trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ, may not always remove the hurdles we face or make mountains smaller.
But it sure make our running and climbing easier.
We may be walking a desert pathway or on a narrow road,
but when our trust is in our Lord and our eyes are fixed on Him, we know He will finally leads to the beautiful place (Heaven); because He is the author and finisher of our lives!
Be blessed this day and week,
Julia

Dark but still beautiful?

Hi family and friends..
Each of us are so…unique and precious in our Lord’s eyes.
No matter what caste, race, colour we are our Lord Jesus Christ loves us the same.
He created us in His image. Let’s appreciate the beauty of God in His handiwork.
It was He who knit us together in our mother’s womb.
Today let’s thank God for making us the way we are.
Just sharing a blog (with her permission) written by our daughter Becky a couple of years back, hope someone is blessed.
May this day be blessed.

Hi,

Some one called me ‘dark but still beautiful’ today. You might think I’d be delighted at this comment but sadly I wasn’t. No, no…..Don’t get me wrong. I’m not one of the I-don’t-like-compliments type it’s just that the words ‘but still’ worry me a lot. This one sentence has had me thinking all afternoon. I could have been called beautiful. But no, it had to be noted that I am dark ‘but still’ beautiful.  I am so stirred up; I could write a book about this. But trust me, I will keep this short!
Why should someone EVER be called dark ‘but still’ beautiful? Is being ‘dark skinned’ usually something that isn’t associated with beauty? Is it so distant from beauty that it has to ‘noted’ when the two are together? Which leads me to my next question, is beauty associated with fairness?
I’ve never heard anyone say, ‘She’s fair but still beautiful’!
Racism is often rooted deep within us and we fail to realise that beauty is in everything that God created. It doesn’t depend on the colour of your skin.
 The Bible clearly says in
Genesis 1:27 – “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
Let’s start loving each other putting aside things that matter little like the colour of our skins. Let’s stop judging people for the way the look or make fun of them because of their appearances.
We all have an image of what ‘beauty’ or ‘perfection’ is, in our heads. Let’s not judge people who don’t fit these images. Let’s not point out to people that they are dark because IT’S NOT A CRIME TO BE DARK SKINNED. The Bible says ALL were created in the image of God and no where is it said that fair skin is beautiful.
To conclude quickly as I said I would, I want to challenge each and every one who reads this mail to think about any racist ideas that we may have and lay them at the feet of Jesus. Also, let’s repent if we have made fun of people’s looks or appearances. Jesus only feels immense love when He looks into each of our faces.
God bless you all.
Dark but ever loved by Him,
Rebecca.

In actuality, there is only one race – the human race. Within the human race is a great amount of diversity in skin color and other physical characteristics.

I do not hear your footsteps
as you approach me sitting in silence
my eyes glazed, staring out the window
at the early morning newness.

I do not hear your footsteps
as a tear runs down my face
overwhelmed with oceans of emotion
as I whisper a prayer to you.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I lift my words to you
hoping with my heart and soul
that you will hear my desperate words.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I feel a comfort sweep through me
like a warm breeze in the spring
or a blanket wrapped around me in winter.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I begin to feel a strength
from deep within it grows
and I know I am not alone.

I do not hear your footsteps
but I feel your presence there
now knowing I’m not alone
I can feel your loving rush through me.

I do not hear your footsteps as I end my silent prayer
but, as I stand to face whatever the day will bring
I know that your footsteps will never walk the other way…
I had to write this after sitting at the kitchen table this morning. It was quiet. The hour was early and the world was still sleeping. I looked out the window and felt the need to pray. As I did, my eyes misted with tears and although frightened, I knew that I was not alone. I wrote this small poem/prayer to convey the feelings I had, but know that the words do not do it justice. I don’t know if any ever will. It’s my hope that when you are in need, you “hear” the silent footsteps of God, coming to your side and comforting you like a child. For that’s what we all are, to me.
No matter what your age, we are children of God who will never be abandoned by our Father — no matter what !
